Spean Bridge is very reachable with exceptional scenery on route.
- Direct trains from Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. One stop from Fort William for car hire. (One can also take the Royal Scotsman).
- Eurostar to London walk to London Euston to take the day train or overnight sleeper - book in advance and keep an eye out for special deals.
- Fly to Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Prestwick
- Inverness by car on the A82 by Loch Ness
- Glasgow by car on the A82 by Loch Lomand and Glen Coe
- Edinburgh by car on the A9 turn at Dalwhinnie Distillery.
- The route from Glasgow parallels West Highland Way.
- The route from Inverness parallels Great Glen Way.
First class on the Caledonian Sleeper from London-Euston (next to the Eurostar terminal at Kings Cross), no rush, eat on the train. Wake up on Rannnoch Moor, eat Breakfast and watch the deer. Spean Bridge station is 10 minutes walk.
